Desperate Turkish Mayor asks for funds in Germany..

Here is the latest on Mayor Erguls desperate attempts to save face in front of the world

Not only Mr. Ergul continues giving the ridiculous allegations of dog selling to Chinese restaurants as a reason for dismissing the management of the Beykoz shelter and then killing four hundred dogs, he now has sent the following message to Germany..
Read it carefully… knowing what we know by now it is even more ridiculous.

The Major states that:

The dogs of Beykoz dont need food!. The dogs of Beykoz need Vaccines, drugs and dewormers.
The dogs of Beykoz also need money. As much money as possible. This money will be placed
in a bank account of the municipality and (from Germany) you will be able to see that it will be spent very well.

This would sound like a sincere call for financial assistance if it came from an NGO doing direct work on the field.. but such an absurd call for funds coming from the Mayor of one of Turkeys richest municipalities? A municipality that in recent years is flush with money coming mostly from the licensing of real estate projects?

Vaccines, drugs and dewormers? That we can understand… there is a plague of disease and parasites at the Beykoz Municipality.

For God sake Mr. Mayor… do you really think our German friends are that stupid?

This must be some sort of joke…

German friends… please donate to your local animal welfare association.. give money to a dog rescue, to an orphanage, a church, or simply go out and get a few beers in one of your beautiful pubs… but whatever you do dont even think of sending money to the Mayor of Beykoz… You have better ways to help the animals!
